Section 36 involves installing the elevator push rods as well as the control sticks. I am not installing the Aft Elevator Pushrod at this time mainly because the elevator is not installed yet. That will happen at a much later date.
The first steps involved preparing the bellcranks acting as a pivot point for the pushrods in the rear of the airplane. I also prepared the pushrods by priming the inside (spraying tons of paint inside and twirling it around) as well as adding the pushrod ends.

The elevator pushrod passes through underneath the baggage floor. This will be eventually covered by another panel.

The control sticks were drilled in order to be attached to the control stick bases.

And then the control sticks were attached to the control columns and the torque tube connecting the two control sticks together. I don’t have any photos of this but I needed to ensure the control sticks had the required fore and aft movement by sanding away at some stops at the base of the control sticks.

Of course at this moment it was time to climb in and move the control sticks while making adequate airplane noises.
