I thought I said I was done until the fuselage. Well, I have used this time waiting for the next kit to finish up some odds and ends. This time it was doing the fiberglass work by attaching the empennage fairings. I didn’t do this before because I was kind of intimidated by working with fiberglass. It turns out that it wasn’t that big of a deal.

Finishing up this section consisted of attaching a fiberglass plate to the open end of the fairing, sanding it down until smooth, and then using Blind rivets to attach the fairings to the elevator and vertical stabilizer.
