After a few months of organizing, thinking, planning, and getting rid of the useless, energy wasting garage fridge, I finally have a good space to work. I put together an “EAA Workbench” in order to do most of the work but I have enough wood to build another matching table when longer pieces require it. The workbench on the left is a hold over from the old house, and it is a rickety POS bench compared to the new one I made.
This is a little alcove off the 2-car garage. It will allow a lot of the assembly to take place while hopefully allowing Kirsten’s car to live inside.

You may notice brewing equipment above the racks in the back. Well, if this airplane thing doesn’t work out, I can alway drown my sorrows in an IPA.
Showing off a few of the essential tools: I acquired a 3X Rivet Gun and a Pneumatic Squeezer off eBay. They look really used but they seem to work just fine. The little bar between the Drill and bottle of air tool oil is a Tungsten bucking bar. It is an amazingly heavy dense piece of metal. I have been told that I will use that 90% of the time over the more traditional bucking bar between the squeezer and drill.

My collection of clecos is sure to grow in the near future.
